Bill Gates

Bill Gates. (created microsoft)

Bill Gates started to learn programing at 13 years old (1968). His first program was a tic tac toe when he was 13 years.

Math is his strong subject and it shares with programming the same mode of thinking. When he is programming  all  is additions and subtractions.

Programming is not learned at school.

We think learning programming is important because with that we can solve our technical problems without go to a technical service.

Gabe Newell created Valve
It began in Microsoft Together with a friend they developed projects as WINDOWS NT and OS/2. It founded Valve Software in 1996, I use his money to begin the new company and to develop the one that would be the first game of valve, Half-Life.

Gabe Newell He thinks that the programming is wonderful; He thinks that the persons are the programmers of the tomorrow as a few magicians in the programs.

For my to want to learn programming has to like to learn or to do applications or games to you, The programming can be something difficult but alone is necessary to be something certain the truth is that it is not necessary to be a genius to codify

Linux

                                   Linux
Giselle Daniel - Cindi Carvajal

The story of Linux started 20 years ago, when Boris Yeltsin was named president was named president. In August 1991 a computer science student named Linux Torbalds published notes that later were important in the history of computers. This student created a program named Linux (because this was the name of the creator) Also, he said that he did it as a hobby. Linux spread around the world and developers would contributed to the Linux code. Linux named the core of his operative system and chose a penguin as his mascot after a minor incident at a zoo.

He chose the GPL license created by Richard Stallman. The Linux core had the GPL license and other computer basic but important liberties, like the liberty of using sofware with any purpuse, the liberty of change and share software, and also share changes done in the software.
now every 3 months is launched a new version of linux is thrown. use linux literally every time we surf the internt this on our phone, the TV running on 95% of computers.

                                                Clementina

Clementine, a computer of the mercury series was the first computer in Argentina. It was imported in 1960 with the help of Manuel Sadosky, who get borrow a credit to Bernardo Houssay of 300.000 dollar to buy a computer and was called the father of the Argentinian computing because he created the institute of calculus.

Clementine started to work in 1961 on the UBA (University of Buenos Aires) and was used for scientific and technological projects. Only had 5 Kb of ram and its size was 18 meters of long. With its small size of processing, its boot delay was as 2 hours, did not have a screen or a keyboard. The only form to get data was with punched paper tapes.

As Clementine needs a special system of refrigeration, was carried to a separate building. In this place was used day and night by 100 persons.
At 1971, Clementine pass to stay out of service because no had extra parts for repair.
In this moment, some parts are in La Plata and some parts are in the UBA.

                                        History of the internet
The history of the Internet begins with the development of electronic computers in the 1957. Initial concepts of packet networking originated in several computer science laboratories in the United States, Great Britain, and France.
The US Department of Defense awarded contracts as early as the 1960s for packet network systems, including the development of the ARPANET

Packet switching networks such as ARPANET were developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s using a variety of communications protocols. The ARPANET in particular led to the development of protocols for internetworking, in which multiple separate networks could be joined into a network of networks.

ARPANET development was centered on the Request for Comments process, still used today for proposing and distributing Internet Protocols and Systems. It is known how  "Host Software"
